What the work involves

Waterproofing is the whole job. Tile is a wear surface, not a water barrier - what keeps water out of the framing is the membrane behind it, and a shower built without a proper pan and bonded membrane will rot the subfloor whatever it looks like.

Tub-to-shower conversions are the most requested change and the most commonly botched, usually at the curb and the drain: the pan has to slope to the drain evenly or water sits against the curb and finds the gap.

Ventilation sized to the room, ducted outside and not into the attic, is what stops the mould that brings people back two years later.

Scope we handle

  • Tub-to-shower conversion
  • Waterproof pan and membrane systems
  • Tile shower and wet-room builds
  • Vanity, toilet and fixture replacement
  • Exhaust ventilation sized and ducted
  • Grab bars and accessible layouts

National planning range: $9,500 - $42,000 per bathroom. State pages carry locally adjusted figures. These are estimates for budgeting, not quotes.

Bathroom Remodeling questions

How much does bathroom remodeling cost in the United States?

Most bathroom remodeling projects in the United States land between $9,500 and $42,000, depending on scope, access and material grade. That is an estimated range for planning, not a quote - call (844) 624-3161 and we will scope your job properly.

Are your the United States contractors licensed and insured?

Yes. We only refer contractors carrying current licensing for their trade and active liability coverage, and we re-check both before a referral goes out.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

Usually one to three weeks. Tile showers add time because the waterproofing and mortar bed have to cure before tile.

Do you pull permits?

Where the work needs them, yes - the contractor files and schedules inspections. Unpermitted work surfaces at resale and is far more expensive to resolve then.

How soon can someone come out?

For repair-scale work, usually the same week. Larger builds depend on design and permitting, which is where most of the calendar goes, not the construction.

What areas around the United States do you cover?

the United States and the surrounding metro. Call (844) 624-3161 and we will confirm your street - we usually do.
